Pros And Cons Of America
America. The greatest country in the world, or so we thought. The current state of the country isn’t the best, as it has it’s pros and cons, yet it isn’t horrible. We have many things going for us, such as our strong military, our booming economy, and our relatively low unemployment rate. But we also have a negative side, which includes our national debt, high costing health insurance, and the large taxes we have to pay. Overall, there is some bad with the good, and vice versa. To be honest, I believe that America as a country is eventually not going to be the number one country in the world anymore, and start to head downhill. For example, the Assyrian Empire was the “America” of 1250 BC, and it eventually fell due to the loss of a single …show more content…
Some strengths include our high diversity, democratic government, freedoms, low population density, high amounts of wealth and resources, and our very strong military forces. All of this is good, but some of these pros cause some pretty bad cons. For example, our laws on free speech allow for garbage news, where most of it is faked or over-exaggerated for more views. Our large quantities of oils and gasoline caused cars to be less expensive to run, which in turn is causing our air pollution rates to go up. One of our greatest strengths, being the strongest country in the world, is also a weakness. This causes attention on us by other countries who are power hungry and want to take us down, either through war, threats, or malicious hacking of government websites. Overall, America has many strengths and weaknesses, and are because we are the great and powerful country we are today. Overall, America is a great country, but it can be better. We have a strong military, a high diversity, a booming economy, and we are viewed as the world’s “leader” because of these reasons and more. However, we also have many weaknesses. Our healthcare plan isn’t the best, taxes are high and are sometimes spent on unimportant things, illegal immigration is taking away jobs, and many more. In conclusion, the state of America currently pretty damn good, but it;s going to go downhill if we don’t make some

America. Land of the free and home of the brave. A place that be full of individualism and diversity. Even though this is a great nation, there is a few things I would change to make this country even better. America is occupied of people that don’t truly know what is going on in the world, their homeland, even what is going on in their own state. This is a result of news censoring or even changing stories to sway the viewers opinions. Also news are mostly opinions instead of facts, making it so no one will have the full story of the events that are occurring…

At first I want to say I love America! And my impression of it is good. I got this predilection for America because; I have cousins who live there. One of them: Anne-Marie, went home to Denmark this summer, to visit the family. She was very kind and polite, and I thought it was interesting to talk to her, because she told me about their different cultures, norms etc. When I talked to her I also got the impression that the structure of the Government, their laws and the way people relate to each other has great influence on the individual, and its actions and attitudes. Anne-Marie also told me a lot about the Indians and Cowboys. So now when I hear the words: The United States of America, I think in my head: “The land of the free, and the home for the lovely race!”…
