Proposal for SWOT Analysis
PROPOSAL FOR SWOT ANALYSIS

It was decided in first meeting of Visioning group that Dr.R.B.Shivagunde,Prof.B.L. Gupta and Dr. (Mrs) Kiran Saksena will take the exercise of completing swot analysis of the institution. The team for SWOT analysis has worked out following three approaches to complete the exercise.

1. Response on Opinionnaire from al faculty members and other officers like Administrative Officer, Accounts Officer, Librarian, Stores Purchase Officer, Warden etc.

2. Examination/observation of records, documents reports etc. The team will approach to each centre, department and section to examiner observe their functioning on well defined attributes.

3. Responses of stakeholders - The team would like to take responses of stakeholders on well-defined attributes.

Once this exercise is over the team will analyse the data and find out strength the weaknesses opportunities and threats.

This will be submitted in a document with specific recommendations to be incorporated in the strategic plans.

RESOURCES AND SUPPORT REQUIRED

- One steno (of course part time) maintains record and data entry

- A letter from Principal to all respondents to co-operate the team within the time limits.

SCHEDULE OF COMPLETING THE ASSIGNMENT

• Data collection - 1 month

• Analysis - 15 days

• Report writing - 15 days

While we are at the threshold of 21st Century, it becomes imperative for us to have a vision for future. We should assess our present capabilities and start preparations for future challenges. Through this Opinionnaire on SWOT analysis your valuable opinion is sought about the two important aspects.

• Assessment of external environment - opportunities and threats

• Assessment of internal environment strengths and weaknesses
