Proof Of Jesus Resurrection Essay
The Proof of Jesus Resurrection

So many people question whether Jesus Christ’s resurrection is fact or fiction. I am writing this paper to prove that it was indeed real with the facts I have found from many different sources including the bible. These facts such as the empty tomb, many witnesses, the apostles, the brother of Jesus, conversation with Paul and those who sacrificed their lives for their belief in
Jesus proves that there was a reason for it all and that was the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Even though not one person can claim that they saw with their own two eyes, the resurrection themselves, but there were many who saw him after his death and burial in the tomb. So with all of the evidence and proof, we all will be able to say, “It was real”, by the end of this paper.
The first proof I will provide will be the empty tomb of Jesus Christ. Many people believed that this evidence was enough to prove Jesus’ resurrection. How else can on man move that huge boulder that was blocking the entrance of the tomb? Not to mention he was not at his full strength, with all of his bruises, cut, no food or water for three whole days.

What I do know is that Jesus was resurrected and he did ascend to heaven. No, I did not see it with my own two eyes, but I do feel his presence all around me and through me. Even before doing this paper, I have always known and believed in Him and I always will. Just like Mary Magdalene, the apostles, Paul, James and every one of the other witnesses, others will know the truth in due time. They will know that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, The Chosen One who died for our sins on the cross, then resurrected three days later and ascended to heaven. For those disbelievers, one day they will know the truth, hopefully sooner rather than later on judgement day. Jesus Christ of Nazareth was factually resurrected.

    - I think people these days are like Thomas if they do not have a real proof they will not believe. Intellectually they cannot comprehend how God can be three people at the same time. Where is the proof that he died on the cross and that He rose again. According to them this does not make any sense, does not have any logic or a reasonable explanation.…

The first of the five proofs is often called “The Proof of Motion.” This theory helps in proving God’s existence by using science. Motion is all around us. Anything and everything in motion now, was at one point moved by another force and so on. This cycle continues throughout all motion that happens. But we must think that if all motion was caused by a force, and that force by another, how would the first movement to start the cycle happen, if the cycle itself had not started? There is only one logical answer to this, and the answer is an infinite force or mover that must have been of all power to cause that force. This mover, we call God.…

    Swoon Theory

The Swoon Theory, the Stolen Body Theory, the Hallucination Theory, and the Wrong Tomb Theory are all man-made theories that are used to disprove the validity of Christ’s resurrection. The Swoon Theory professes that Jesus was buried alive because He only temporarily fainted on the cross, and the Stolen Body Theory says that the disciples lied about Jesus’s resurrection in order to steal His body. The Hallucination Theory claims that Jesus never actually resurrected (the disciples only believed in their minds that He did) and the Wrong Tomb Theory points to Jesus’s female disciples thinking that Jesus had disappeared from the tomb, when they actually just went to the wrong tomb. However, as Christians, we believe that these theories are false,…

    Resurrection Of Jesus

The bodily resurrection of Jesus is positively vital in the declaration of the gospel. Lacking the gospel is not superior news, other than awful news. The news will be just a simple person who was cruelly beaten and killed for profanity. In what way could the apostles present this news, if they did not when through the bodily resurrection? There would be not any. This is why the resurrection is a necessary element of the gospel. In addition, basically declare that the resurrection take place would not have been a sufficient amount. This is why Jesus appear in acts chapter one and be evidence for himself to the apostles. According to Acts 1:3 states, Jesus show himself to the disciples and many too persuasive evidence that he was living.…

The second fact is that Jesus’ disciples believed that He rose and appeared to them. What could transform a group of “fearful, cowering individuals who denied and abandoned Him [Jesus] at His arrest and execution into bold proclaimers of the gospel of the risen Lord” (Habermas & Licona, 2004, p. 50)? These men had nothing to gain from their claims. In fact, they remained consistent with their beliefs even in the face of beatings, torture, imprisonment, and their own martyrdom. Nine early and independent sources confirm that the disciples claimed the resurrection. These fall into three categories: the testimony of Paul about the disciples, the early church’s oral tradition, and the written works of the early church. Succinctly put, even when merely viewing the New Testament as an ancient collection of writings, there is strong evidence to assert…
