It is similar to a competitor’s product but will have significantly more features. This product will open new markets for the sales channel, lay the foundation for add-on products, and generate new revenues. This new product is estimated to hit the market within the first quarter of the next fiscal year which is approximately 9 months from now. Winsome manufacturing has the equipment and ability to produce this new product by way of prefabricated molds which will allow the liquid to be injected to create the new storage units. The cost estimates for this project have not been determined but since Winsome already manufactures similar products compared to the new product set to be released in the near future, the company should be able to come up with a cost estimate that will not cause the project to go over budget. The sales team will need to develop a strategy to bring in new customers as well as retain current customers in order to gain new sales for the new storage unit. The sales team should assign realistic sales goals for each month leading up to the release of the new product. This could be accomplished by using specific dollar amounts or a percentage which will allow for measurable results. As long as the target numbers are reached for each month the project can continue moving forward. When people talk about scope, they immediately think time and cost. Time and cost are outputs of scope. Determining scope is a different exercise. In the context of this white paper, when we talk about defining the scope, we are talking about developing a common understanding as to what is included in, or excluded from, a project. We are not talking about deciding how long it will take, or how much it will cost. That comes after the scope is defined. If we were looking for a car, we would first define the scope. The amount of the business that they are accumulating is growing fast, and the current network that they use is not enough to keep up with consumer demand. This is costing the company major amounts of money, which, in turn, is making the company slowly fail in its mission. The network is becoming slower due to the demands brought on by the lack of networking update. If this networking update is completed the company will run faster and smoother to allow better communication and enable the company to communicate easier and faster between localities and through the consumer. This will help the company make money instead of losing money through there networking upgrades.…
