Professionalism In A Doctor Of Physical Therapy Program
Professionalism in the context of being a student in a doctor of physical therapy program contains promptness, time management, consistency and a great attitude. There is a famous quote by Alistair Cooke that reads "A professional is someone who can do his best work when he doesn't feel like it." I agree with that quote because over the span of a 2-3 year doctorate program life will change and difficult circumstances can present themselves to our lives. A true professional can still remain consistent in the midst of life's challenges and perform at a high level regardless of feelings. Not only will the true professional remain consistent, he or she will be prompt and show up daily with a great attitude.
