2. Models guide professional community work services
Working models which based on practical experience are regarded as an intermediate type toward the theoretical generalization (Thompson, 1996). Models provide guidelines social workers achieve their community work missions of change and service community (Weil, 1996). In fact, various models based on their various knowledge, approach and techniques, would be applied to different communities and professional tasks for workers (Gamble and Weil, 2010).
Several community work models are generalized. The three models which are ‘locality development’, ‘social planning’ and ‘social action’ inducted by Rothman and Tropman (1987). Gamble and Weil (2010) summed the models including ‘neighborhood and
