Course Reflection
In the following paper I will discuss what I have learned during this Professional Communication Practices online course. I will also touch on how I will use the information in the future.
What I Have Learned
Through the various assignments, I have gained a wealth knowledge about proper grammar usage. Prior to taking this course, the last grammar lesson that I had was back in Middle School. Working on the weekly grammar assignments allowed me to refresh my memory and also learn new information about grammar that I never knew before. This part of the course by far will be the most useful. I will use what I learned about grammar in both my professional and personal life when doing things such as writing essays, completing discussion

I had one of the Human Resources Specialists review my cover letter and resume after review I received complaints on it. Concluding my interview, I made sure to send each person on my interview panel a thank you email. I am sure even after applying for this position that I will use the information I learned again in the future. I also, learned the importance of effective and proper business communication. There are so many aspects included in understanding and learning communication. From this course I understand that effective communication provides individuals with a competitive edge in the business world. Furthermore, individuals speaking, writing, and interpersonal communications skills are extremely important and are critical skills to learn to able to contribute to the business you work in. I will apply the information that I learned to both of my personal and professional life and the reason for this is because I feel to truly utilize and apply effective communication it must be demonstrated in both ways of your life. Doing so will allow me to use it daily that way it will not be such a struggle to use while at work. Lastly, I learned a diverse amount of information through our weekly discussion board.
