Professional Beliefs About The Nursing Profession
Professional Philosophy As a student preparing to begin my nursing career, I have come to develop my own core beliefs about the nursing profession. As a new graduate, I aim to instill these philosophies into my nursing practice. First, to embody characteristics of a genuine nurse by being caring, enthusiastic and being able to utilize teamwork.
Second, practicing safely by maintaining a constant vigilance to avoid medication errors. Third, being mindful of cultural and religious values.
I believe the compassionate qualities of a nurse are already a part of my personality. I strive further to be a positive and enthusiastic person for not only professional reasons, but for my personal philosophy as well. Utilization of teamwork, prioritization,

    In order to define a personal philosophy of nursing, it is very important to understand the meaning of the term “philosophy”.
