Production and Technical Study
The technical feasibility study assesses the details of how you will deliver a product or service (i.e., materials, labor, transportation, where your business will be located, technology needed, etc.). It is the logistical or tactical plan of how your business will produce, store, deliver, and track its products or services. It is an excellent tool for trouble-shooting and long-term planning. Technical feasibility analysis helps determine if new technology is needed by analyzing the type of technology, what it offers and if current technology can support it. It also measures the benefits of the development and if they are worthwhile to the company or to the public. Technical feasibility analysis is conducted prior to implementing new technology. It also occurs throughout the stages of the product development. As it is analyzed, changes are made accordingly if necessary. Through a technical-feasibility study, we can evaluate the project's potential for success into -the development of new products, the improvement/redesign or development of existing products, investigating the potential or application of new technologies research and develop a project proposal for submission for funding.
