How to Play Soccer

Playing soccer in my opinion is a difficult task, not everyone has the natural talent to be good at this game; but to play soccer there are basic qualities that you must possess to start learning to play. A player must be very dedicated and committed to learning the sport. For example, it took me a couple of years to play competitively in the local leagues. To play soccer competitively, you must have good physical condition, ball control, and to play your position.
The first step to learning to play soccer is that you must be in top physical shape. It is like basketball, most of the players are tall. In soccer the same principle applies, you are constantly running up and down the field so your physique will greatly affect your skills. You must begin physical training at least two weeks prior to starting foot work. One of the best places to begin training is at a tropical beach. Running and exercising in the sand is said to be tougher than on firm ground. To maintain the best physique possible players must also have a healthy diet. Also, you should go to the gym and work your legs out because that is what you will mainly be using in soccer.
Another step to learning to play soccer is having good ball control. In soccer, ball control is everything; you will never be a good soccer player if you do not learn to control the ball. Learning to control the ball will be one of the most difficult tasks you will encounter while learning to play soccer. It will also be time consuming, but you must be patient and dedicated because this is an arduous objective. When you are approaching this feat I recommend juggling the ball, which is maintaining the ball in the air for as long as possible. This exercise will help you trap the ball when you are in a game. For example, players sometimes kick the ball away from the danger zone, so if the ball goes to you, you must trap the ball. If you do not trap those balls in the air you will pretty much be the laughing

When I was ten years old I tried out for my local travel soccer team. I did not expect to make it, but by some stroke of luck I did. I started playing and it was not what I was expecting. In the past I averaged a hat trick every game, but travel soccer was a lot different. I started playing defense, but that might be an overstatement, because I did not get a whole lot of minutes. I knew that if I wanted to play more I was going to have to put in more work outside of practice. I started practicing everyday switching from running, to foot skills, to agility training. I probably spent more time complaining about it and there were a few time that my parents had to push me to practice, but I knew that I had to put in the work.…

Soccer players are extremely complete athletes; they must be able to run for 6 miles without stopping, jogging and sprinting. Soccer players must start training at a young age because how grueling it is to get in shape for it. They must have really strong core, legs, and a strong heart. Core muscles refer to obliques, abs, back, and chest. Soccer players cannot be out of shape in anyway in order to play. These muscles take years to make as strong as they need to be in order to be a great soccer player. In soccer a strong shot doesn’t just come from having those famously strong leg muscles like Beckham, but it comes from the twist from the core that creates the torque needed to have a powerful shot. The necessity of a strong core in soccer is often under rated, as well as the overall strength and physicality involved in soccer. The legs are famously strong because they tend to be large and hard to miss. However, the shoulders and core must be strong in order to push off other players while running at top speed and dribbling a soccer ball. The obviously strong body part of soccer players are their legs. Soccer players tend to be able to out lift football players in all exercises involving legs. When analysts on ESPN talk about soccer even the guys usually have something to say about the legs because of how defined and largely muscular they are. When soccer players are able to kick soccer ball…

First off I want to give you a general idea of the rules and regulations. Professional soccer is played with 11 players from each team on the field at once, including a goalie. There are no time outs and no commercial breaks during a game. The duration of a game is 90 minutes, with 45 minute halves, and a 15 minute halftime. In addition, although this applies to every soccer player, professional or amateur you must not touch the ball with your hands, from your fingertips, all the way up to your shoulders. And you must wear cleats and shin guards while you’re playing. These are some essential guidelines of soccer but there are many more.…

The correct way to kick a soccer ball as far as possible is to keep your preferred foot’s ankle locked, get your thigh back and land on your kicking foot and your other foot last, do not land on your opposite foot. Last but not least, you must kick with the laces of your shoes and not your toes. It helps a lot to wear soccer cleats because they are first of all obviously made for soccer but are designed to help you kick the ball correctly and use good technique. The reason you want to kick the ball with you laces is because you will have a ton of power compared to kicking the ball with any other part of your foot or technique. The reason you want to finish on your finishing foot is because if you kick your hardest it will help you get your maximum distance and…

I remember when I was five, I would always attend my step sister’s soccer games during the weekend while at my dad’s. I would always love to watch but I was more of a hands on person. I have always wanted to play soccer but unfortunately it was harder to do for a kid, like me, when I had divorced parents that lived 40 minutes away from each other. It was so hard because usually when it came to soccer, the games would be during the weekend and practices would be a few days during the week. Finally, after my sophomore year I decided to try again and play for my school.…

During the sixteenth century English public schools generally, and headmaster Richard Mulcaster in particular, were instrumental in taking football away from its violent "mob" form and turning it into an organised team sport that was beneficial to schoolboys. Thereafter, the game became institutionalised, regulated, and part of a larger, more central tradition. Many early descriptions of football and references to it (e.g., in poetry) were recorded by people who had studied at these schools, showing they were familiar with the game. Finally, in the 19th century, teachers and former students were the first to write down formal rules of early modern football to enable matches to be played between…

    Soccer vs Basketball

The way that soccer is played is so different than basketball and football. The whole idea of these games is scoring on the other team. Soccer is played with 11 players on each team and each team wears a special sport dress (T- shirts, shorts, and socks). A soccer game is about 90 minutes long; the first half is 45 minutes long and the second half is 45 minutes long. In contrast, basketball is around two and a half hours divided into four quarters, each 12 minutes long. Soccer is a team work; it's not like basketball, a game of super stars, where one man can change the game. Soccer has more strategy spread over 90 minutes while basketball is a game of breaking points, and the whole course could change in the last 10 seconds. Soccer requires it players to be in high physical fitness shape; but after all, anybody can play soccer, and there is no need to be tall or muscled like basketball players. The basic skills in basketball games are: passing the ball, handling shooting, and rebounding. Football is also different than soccer. First, football should not be called football because the players are allowed to touch the ball with their hands. It is not like soccer. The players cannot touch the ball with their hands, which is the main rule in the game. Football has been called a game for animals; it is kind of like wrestling. Football needs more players than soccer and basketball. It is played with fifteen players in each team; there are eight forwards, who mainly get possession of the ball, and seven backs that mainly carry and move the ball. The six basic skills in this game are catching, running, blocking, tackling, and kicking. This game is considered…
