Greetings!
I am humbly asking your good office to consider my application for a probationary status in the Department of Chemistry, School of Natural Sciences. I recently earned my Masters degree in Education major in Science Education in this institution last June 25, 2015 with a general weighted average equivalent to that of a Cum Laude. In my thesis, I collaborated with an IT specialist from SITEL Baguio to produce a software that could be used by students enrolled in Organic Chemistry. Now, I am on the process of submitting my thesis for paper presentation and publication.
I passed the Licensure Examinations for Teachers (LET) Secondary level major in Physical Sciences last August 2005 with an average of 81.40%. I have been with this institution for three years as part-time faculty member for A.Y 2012 – 2013, 2013 – 2014 and 2014-2015, with a faculty evaluation score of 93.70 and 95.30, respectively. I have been a contractual chemistry laboratory assistant as well during my years of stay with your institution, which I consider as a valuable experience as a Science educator.
I feel qualified and confident to take the challenges that this position offers. I sincerely assure you that I am with you in the pursuit of excellence for our students and for the institution.
