Pro Choice Abortion Research Paper
The abortion debate is described between the pro-life and the pro-choice. Pro-life means the right of the fetus to be born. Pro-choice means the right of the woman to choose whether or not she wants to continue with the pregnancy. Abortion is legal in the United States but individual states can regulate it. However, a state can make a “trigger law” which in the first and second trimesters would make abortion illegal. Abortion became legal in the United States with the 1973 decision of Roe v. Wade. Pro-choice argues that choosing whether or not to have an abortion is the woman’s right and should not be limited by the government. They also argue that having access to legal and professional abortions is less risky, unlike having illegal abortions
