1. What micro environmental factors affected both the first generation and second generation models of the Toyota Pries? How well has Toyota dealt with these factors?
The first generation Prius was small, cramped, and not very attractive, although not too pretty or fancy. It was the first of the hybrid model and launched in 2001 in the United States. However, the second generation Prius was introduced three years later, which was much more pleasing to certain players of the microenvironment. These are following points of micro environmental factors which affected both first and second generations.
Competitor:As per the feedback and result from the Gen1 user, Gen2 Prius upgraded most of the functions which only use in luxury vehicles. Gen1 averaged an astounding 42 miles per gallon, its successor did ever better at 48, like single button brought the car to life and seven-inch energy monitor touch screen displayed with fuel consumption, outside temperature n battery charge level.
Consumer:Since this car is with generator n gas engine, it also can achieves most of the customers want - saving fuel money, and this is a big influent Prius to become a Hottest car in US. Coz it achieved the demand like saving air pollution but also can with speed 15 mph (only with the electric motor).
Channel:Since the federal governmental showed support of the Toyota Prius Hybrid vehicle, and customers can get addiction tax breaks, it less customer’s burden and this is one of points to make them feel like to buy Prius.
