Introduction and Background

1.0 Introduction
In this chapter the researcher will analyze the following aspects: background to the study, statement of the problem, objectives of the study, research questions, significance of the study, limitations of the study, delimitations of the study, conceptual framework, definition of basic terms and conclusion.

1.1 Background of the Study

The number of people living officially below the poverty line is rising rapidly, and at the same time, people who are working beyond the age of 65 is increasing. Tanzania like many other countries in the world has experienced the problem of unemployment. This has been a challenge to many graduates due to advancement in technology and use of machines, to replace people from their jobs. Apart from machines, the number of educated people has increased which has led to competition in the labour market hence people with high qualification find themselves working for the very low position in order to sustain their lives and...
