PROPOSAL ON THE PROJECT TOPIC OF:
PRICE DETRMINATION IN A COPETITIVE MARKET, METHOD AND PROBLEMS (A CASE STUDY CONSOLIDATED BREWERIES PLC) The overall objective of this study is to analyse and formulate the “Price determination in a competitive market, method and problems”. This project work has been segmented into five chapters, each with its own importance, and analysis of the study. CHAPTER ONE
It introduces the project topic by analysis the “Price determination in a competitive market, method and problems”, using consolidated Breweries PLC, as its case study. Besides, it analysis the background of the study, statement of the problem, the purpose of the study, research question, research hypothesis, and research methodology. CHAPTER TWO
It focuses on the literature review of the study. The topics in this chapter, include the objectives of price, methods of pricing, importance of price to a market, stages for determining price, methods of price determination, problems of pricing determination, evaluation of price determination, and price determination in consolidated Breweries PLC. CHAPTER THREE
This chapter is based on the research methodology. It outlines the statements of selecting data, design and administration of questionnaires, sampling techniques, and methods of data analysis techniques. CHAPTER FOUR
This chapter shows the presentation, the analysis of data, and the testing of the hypothesis, besides, it administers the questionnaires. CHAPTER FIVE
This chapter summarizes the whole project, draws conclusion from the study, and finally gives recommendations based on the data collected.
