Thinks, believes and Social value that the people in the past have passed from generation to the next.nothing defines a culture as distinctly as its language, and the element of language that best encapsulate a society’s values and beliefs is its proverbs.
Thai proverb show us about Thai lifestyles which is belongs to the river, temples and agriculture. So that why our proverb is reflect to Thai culture.

All proverbs that you have seen are quite informative in that they are one way we impact wisdom from our culture, and they reflect our cultural values and beliefs.
เข้าเมืองตาหลิ่ว ต้องหลิ่วตาตาม มาจากลักษณะนิสัยของคนไทยที่ เป็นคนชอบสันติ และ ไม่ชอบความรู้สึกที่แปลกแยกแตกต่างจากคนอื่น เพราะคิดว่าความแตกต่างอาจสร้างปัญหาได้ วัฒนธรรมทางความคิดเช่นนี้ก็มีข้อดี คือ ทำให้เราสามารถอยู่ร่วมกับคนอื่น ๆ ได้อย่างดีทั้งนี้เพราะเป็นการสอนให้คนรู้จักปรับตัวเข้าหากัน
This proverb mean every places have the way of their behavior .We should do the same way to avoid the problems. It reflects to Thai behavior that they think the differences can make the problems and they don’t want to get in the trouble. On the other hand, this behave can help us to adapt with every situation that we have to face in our life.

เดินตามหลังผู้ใหญ่หมาไม่กัด นี่สะท้อนให้เห็นว่าคนไทยมีใจยกย่องให้เกียรติผู้หลักผู้ใหญ่ เพราะผู้ใหญ่ย่อมมีประสบการณ์ ผ่านร้อนผ่านหนาว อาบน้ำร้อนมาก่อน
This proverb means you should follow the older because in Thai culture we have the seniority. It reflects to Thai culture that we pay respect to the older because they have more experience and they can tell you what the right thing to do is.

บัวไม่ให้ช้ำ น้ำไม่ให้ขุ่น หมายความว่า จะทำอะไรก็ค่อย ๆ พูดจากัน อย่าให้มีเรื่องมีราวเดือดร้อนเกิดขึ้นกีบอีกฝ่ายหนึ่ง คนไทยไม่ชอบความรุนแรง ไม่ชอบการทะเลาะวิวาท ความคิดความเชื่อที่อยู่ในใจคนไทย คือ หันหน้าคุยกันดีกว่า
