President Persuasive Essay
The decision of the year has been Trump or Clinton. There has been hate, questionable actions, and an array of surprises when we reflect on this years presidential election. There is no doubt that it is controversial, but in the end either Trump or Clinton will be moving into the Oval Office in the start of next year. Experience is something that I feel is strongly important and crucial to have when running for president. It has been said in Donald Trump’s campaign that “he's a smart businessman and successful dealmaker”. Hillary Clinton on the other hand is a “self-assured lawyer, a powerful political wife or a tenacious presidential candidate,.”. She has had a successful political career. Clinton has gained experience from being First …show more content…
Of course it is! Without the ability to follow through on their promises, the people do not gain anything from their promises. They leave it up to the voter to choose which one they think is worse, and which one better for

She also mentioned how she intends to create 10 million jobs by investing in industries such as “clean energy”. She proved that she will do her best to make everyday life better for them. Next, she behaved more professionally then her opponent,…

“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore, send the homeless tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door.” Reference? America has long been the land of freedom and hope to the world, and the American military is what has kept her that way. People have forgotten how important and valuable the military is to the world that we live in. As part of the Budget Control Act of 2011, automatic sequestration calls for $1.2 trillion in lowered federal spending, with 50% coming from defense and 50% coming from non-defense budgets. If Congress cannot reach an agreement, these cuts will reduce the Department of Defense spending by about $55 billion dollars. On September 11, 2001, the United States faced a difficult time in which 3,000 lives were lost due to an attack upon the U.S. by terrorists who hijacked airplanes and crashed them into the Twin Towers in New York City, the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and the United States Pennsylvania! That day, 9/11, has become a day in which we remember the lives that were lost and the families who were affected by such a tragedy. We called on our military once again, and they were there to protect our country. I am against automatic sequestration towards the military and military programs for many reasons.…

The most important part of an election is arguably the campaign process. Once a candidate is nominated in a presidential election, the next step is to move forward with the steps of this process. Each of the candidates will have the opportunity to use recourses, no matter how scarce they may be, to attempt to overcome their opponent with votes. Running a campaign is something that takes a lot of responsibility and a good team of people. They will have first put together a campaign strategy where a detailed comprehensive plan will be put into action including details such as slogans, candidate's position on issues, personal appearances and more. To be completely successful a candidate's team must be able to get media coverage, raise important funds, be highly involved in social media, research the opponent, get America's views, and persuade them to vote. Nearly half of a budget for a political campaign is spent on television advertising. The ultimate goal is to reach the people and send out a message that gives the American people something to believe in.…
