Parents should teach their kids at a very young age that this is wrong that color doesn't matter, we're all the same. This should also be talked more in schools to help stop this with young kids. They should be more educated with more information about this subject. Therefore schools should have clubs and cultural classes. Also punishment should be enforced for those students that make judgements like this. For example, when I was in high school I used to be in this Rop program which allowed me to work with kindergarten students. One morning, this little kid threw a fit about not wanting to sit with a student because of the color of his skin. I asked the little boy why was he being like that and he told me that his parents didn't like people with dark skin. Its sad that situations like this happen and some teacher don't even care about it, or how their parents aren't raising them right instead their setting really bad examples for their kids at a very young

“ We have to correct inequalities in grade school that are unfairly associated with race” (Zack 150). Racism always bring some inequalities and it has been a highly mentioned controversial topic for a long time. We always think about one question is that should people be identified by race? I dispute that viewing people by race causes many disadvantages. It can cause mental trauma for children. Because human are all created equal, segregation is unreasonable, so that people should be judged on their character more than their skin color. Also, studies show that people actually desire race…

Yet, there continues to be a slew of prominent individuals who employ cultural racism when discussing the opportunities and success of blacks and Hispanics. Inciting visions of the American Dream, claiming with hard work and perseverance, anyone can be successful in America (Bonilla-Silva 2003). The problem with this is that the United States has managed to convince people that an individual’s hard work is the only determinant of accomplishment in this country. This ideology denies the power of oppression or privilege on any person’s chances for success, and feigns that every individual, regardless of their race has the same access to the opportunities of America. This sort of rise of color-blind thinking in the past few decades implies that…

All through time, the globe has been racist and impatient of individuals completely different from themselves. An infinite amount of people have been subjected to suffering because of the intolerance of individuals that could not perceive amendment or variations among each other. Even now, once you are not aware, racism remains a substantial downside. However, it generally is not one person being racist against another, rather one person being racist against oneself. Crash shows a multitude of reasons of how racism against oneself, caused by worry and misunderstanding, is simply as malevolent and evil as racism against another person. Misunderstanding…

In my opinion, I feel as racism is a bigger issue than people think. It is one person hating another because of a color. When I look at a person, I see a living, breathing human being. I do not see black or white. Although I do not believe racism can fully be abolished from people’s minds, I believe there is a way to stop the hate crimes that come from racist people and diminish the amount of racism people outwardly show. In order to reduce racism in our society, I believe we should start teaching about God in schools. Although religion should not be forced upon students, I feel as if it will make a large difference in how people act. Racism is about power to a certain extent. Some white people feel as if they are a better person or more important than a black person, and vice versa. The media can help in this aspect of diminishing racism. Rather than showing every act of hate because of race, they can show the good in races. Many black and white people get along, and many are also married to each other. Interracial relationships are more common in my generation than they have ever been. I believe news channels should show more of the positive side of black and white people working together, rather than against each…

The topic of racism and its surrounding thoughts should be changed because, the more people avoid discussing the topic, the more hostile the environment becomes. Avoiding issues only makes things worse and that is the issue of racism. The issue of racism itself is not the problem, the issue of talking about it is the problem. We need to change this because more anger and resentment is developed. This is where relationships with one another are lost. We need more peace and less violence.…

If you reverse the situation of the Caucasian man was shot by an African man, whether if the situation is the same degree of dispute that arises in the community and how do the people react and express? Even legislation against racism exists, but people still need to be educated to change their stereotype. Regardless of opinion, culture and religion we are all equal and should not treat another race indifferently.
