Pre-PhD Coursework Agreement: Tumkur University
AGREEMENT
This agreement is made on the 3rd day of November 2012 between the Chairman, Department of Studies and Research in Commerce, Tumkur University, Tumkur – 572103 (hereinafter called Director “Which expression shall wherever the context permits, be deemed to include his respective successors, legal representatives and his assignees”) on one part and NAMRATHA C.J., D/o Jagadeesh C.K., Samrudhi, 4th A Man, Jayanagar East, Tumkur a candidate in Commerce (Hereinafter called Candidate “Which expression shall wherever the context permits, be deemed to include his respective successors, legal representatives and his assignees”) on the other part.
Whereas, Tumkur University has recognized the Research Centre on such terms and conditions as specified in the notification and the regulations governing the recognition of Research Centre.
Whereas, Tumkur University invited applications for Ph.D. Programme for the year 2012-13 vide Notification TU:AC:Ph.D.-ET:2012-13/1884 dated 06/07/2012.
In pursuance of said notification the candidates who applied for the Ph.D. program have been tested, evaluated and the performance of each candidate has been notified.
Whereas, based on the availability of seats for Ph.D. program and based on the performance of the candidates subject to reservation policy of the University, the University is required to allot the candidates to the Research Centers for pursuing the Pre-Ph.D. coursework as mandatory part of Ph.D. programme.
In pursuance of recognition of Research Centre and allotment of the candidate to Research Centre for Pre-Ph.D. coursework, this agreement with such terms and conditions more specifically described as below and hence, this agreement is the deduced into writing.
1. Responsibilities of Tumkur University.
a) Tumkur University shall allot the candidate to the Research Centre for Pre-Ph.D. coursework.
b) The orders, instructions, clarifications, explanations furnished by the University
