Practicability Of Solar Panel As A
Practicability of Solar Panel as a Modified Power Saver

Introduction Despite the advent of technological breakthrough, different issues and controversies about the shortage of Power Supply is an important matter being talked about nowadays. The higher the demand the lesser the supply, that is what the Economic Analysts would say when there is a price increase issue. Every year, human population increase and so as the product demand of every living human bag in this world. When the population increases, the supply of the product decreases because of the absence of reservoirs. Same as the common needs of all human, electricity becomes one of the most important needs of a person. Nowadays, many power savers are being invented due to the said electricity shortage particularly in the urbanities where technology doesn’t really matter. Solar Panel is a large, flat piece of equipment that uses the sun’s light or heat to create electricity. Solar panel is derived from a collection of Solar Cells. Lots of small solar cells spread over a large area that can work together to provide enough power to be useful. The more light that hits a cell, the more electricity it produces, so spacecraft are usually designed with solar panels that can always be pointed at the Sun even as the rest of the body of the spacecraft moves around, much as a tank turret can be aimed independently of where the tank is going. Solar Panel absorbs solar energy which is a combination of light and heat produced by the sun. According to an assumption, this renewable source of energy is powerful enough to replace the need of electricity that we get from 650 barrels of oil per year. It converts 22% of available energy into electrical power. Furthermore, solar panel provides consistent and steady sustainable and renewable as natural source of power as it is possible to generate electricity. Solar panel is being used increasingly, both in the city and in remote locations, to produce electricity for

Solar Panels help with the growth of the economy and its economic growth is a major factor in terms of the world energy consumption. Economic growth has fluctuated in its energy demand specifically in recent years by 1.1 percent in 2009 and growing by 4.9 percent in 2010, and then growth of 3.8 percent in 2011 and 2.8 percent in 2012. Despite what any individual’s concerns are regarding energy, it has been generally accepted that the finite source generating the majority of our electricity is depleting at alarming rates. We need to find alternative sources for energy production. The most obvious and abundant source available is the sun. Advances in technology have enabled us to harvest the solar radiation which has been conducting the cycle of life for millions of years. There are two main categories when it comes to solar power, passive and active. The passive solar systems integrate the sun’s energy to heat living spaces and/or water in a building. These system are very simple consisting few moving parts, require negligible maintenance and no mechanical components (Passive Solar Design). Passive…

Solar energy is one of the most widely used energy resources throughout the world solar energy is the most promising renewable energy resources. It is widely available and easy for any one to use it is practical for individual use to power a single home or for a company facility such as bright sources solar facility in the Mojave Desert California. The facility can produce up to 377 megawatt. It uses three towers with mirrors surrounded by solar panels to reflect the light on to the solar panels to harness the suns energy. The benefits of solar much more out weigh the negatives solar can save billions of trillions of dollars for nations. The reliability of solar energy is great rising and setting of the sun is consistent while cloudy days are less predictable there are more than enough sunny days to power homes. “She…

To gain a better understanding of how Solar Panels can be useful for our homes lets take a min to understand how they work based on research done by the David H. Koch Fund of Science in 2013. Solar panels capture sunlight and convert it into electricity using Photovoltaic (PV) cells; these cells can power anything from calculators to cars. The bulk of the cells are made up of two layers of silicone and where they meet is where the key action takes place. The cells also have metal strips that conduct the flow of electrons through wires in the house where it powers electrical devices. The Electrons in the cell also flow back out of the house and return to the cell through metal backing in order to make a closed circuit. Finally, the cells have antireflective coating that ensures that the particles of sunlight needed to generate solar power are absorbed by the silicone layers and not reflected away.…

Solar panels are alternative forms of energy that is used in a variety of settings, such as lighting for street lamps, commercial, and residential settings (First Solar, 2014). Most of the solar panels are manufactured overseas, this is because companies can benefit from the lower costs of labor. The solar panels are built under the direction of United States based companies, a supply chain for a solar panel company typically may include the following roles:…

A benefit of solar energy is the location of where is may be situated. In urban areas solar panels can be fitted to rooftops as not to affect any recreational areas. For larger solar farms, great sized lots must be purchased in rural areas just to accommodate the mass number of panels. With the addition of solar panels properties can be run on and off the grid, meaning they do not have to be in connection with local power lines.…

The panels take in energy from the sun and convert it to electricity. Sunlight was used in various ways, but the first connection to harnessing the power for electricity and solar panels was in 1839. Alexandre-Edmond Becquerel studied solar energy and discovered the photovoltaic effect along with the basis of a solar cell (Nationmaster, 2005). This would eventually turn into further invention with electricity run by solar energy. The first solar panels that were created and used were for space satellites. “Vanguard I” was the first PV (photovoltaic) powered satellite launched in 1958 and lasted for 8 years (Bellis, 2009). After that, many people began using the panels for pool…

Furthermore, renewable energy is a very niche market. It makes up only 8% of the total energy industry. SolarWorld’s practice, active solar technology, occupies just 1% of the total renewable energy due to its high cost and capital investment. This leaves a big hole for threat of substitutes such as coal, nuclear or natural gas energy, which are mostly the primary choice before renewable energy.…
