I think the rise of ‘others’ will eventually become a resistance against the dominant status quo, when the oppressed speak out against their oppression this will help the dominant groups to be aware of how their actions and assumptions contribute to oppression, this will then bring about a change.
The dominant group being aware of the impact of their privileged positions and assumptions on the oppression of the less dominant groups can help their group members to identify these assumptions and privileges so that they can make a conscious effort to refrain from using it to oppress others.
