“Powder” By Tobias Wolf, is about a young lad that Who goes on a nice little ski trip with his father that separated from his mother. This trip seem to be one of those father son bonding trips. Well on their last day on what I think was christmas eve as they finished up going down the slopes it starts to snow. on their way home the snow starts to worsen. the police have barricaded the road so the two stop at a diner nearby.As they waited at the dinner the father tries talking to the son. Finally they see the police who were at the roadblock fly by. The father decides it is time time to go and they took off. They moved the saw horses that blocked the road at the roadblock and pretty soon they where driving on nothing but fresh white powder.
