Introduction
The graduate job market does not always follow the general trends of employment in the UK. The graduate job market seem to be stronger than last year, some of Britain 's biggest employers are planning to hire more graduates this year (2013), an increase of 8.7% compared with 2012. In addition, the starting salaries for graduates are expected to still unchanged at a median of £29,000. The date from High Fliers show that 38% of graduate starting salaries are between £25,000 and £30,000, only 2% of graduate starting salaries are lower than £20,000 per year. In order to discover the graduate job expectations, it is important to know what kind of job they are looking for, if they have working experiences, how they will treat their first job and what are their expected starting salaries. So, my group decided to conduct some research into graduates job market and expectations for a deep understanding of this topic.

In a recent survey conducted by Robert W. Thompson, data suggested that a higher education may indeed be inadequate preparation for graduating into the workplace. In a utopian realm, students graduating directly from college and into a stern job with career intentions would be something that would be convenient for any post-graduate. However, the statistics gathered by Thompson in an October, 2000 issue of HR magazine suggest otherwise.…

This number is mind-blowing because it takes away the fear of unemployment after college, that people, like me, already worry about. I am so eager to join clubs, the soccer team, and truly make my mark as a Babson Beaver.…

There are times in life when even the dullest and most complacent among us feel the need to make a change. It was at such a time in my life that a friend drew my attention to a job she had seen advertised on a Leeds University notice board. It was an unusual job in a little known country. The remuneration was not extravagant, but I estimated it would be sufficient for me to meet my ongoing commitments and save enough to tide me over on my return until I could find another job.…
