Positive Thinking In The Anne Frank Diary

Some people think that positive thinking in bad situations does no good. People who think positively in bad situations are less likely to be horribly emotional in the situation. Of course there is better ways for conflict to be overcome, but in my opinion positive thinking is the best way to overcome it. Here is my reasoning.

In the Anne Frank diary, Anne and her family had to go into hiding in an attic. She stayed positive mostly all of the time. Where they stayed was very plain so anne put pictures on the wall. She also always kept herself entertained with a diary and she loved the sound of a nearby clock chime. When there was nothing to look forward to, or when she thought there wasn’t, she always continued to make herself happy.

While Anne could not communicate with other people, in the story Dear Miss Breed, she talked to many. Although in a way they both kind of did the same thing, Dear Miss Breed got a bit more freedom. She would still write in a diary about what she did, but she got to experience more. In part of the story, she talked about how she learned to eat with knives because that was all the military people would provide to everybody. Your family was expected to use your own silverware. In the story, someone else said that while another person thought that the land they were on was dry and dead, the other person
However, he found a friend. I know that most would say that Shmuel was not the happiest, and I agree. Although he was in a bad position, he was happy for a 8 year old in a bad position. Even when he did not have much to look up to, he always tried to be happy. Though not happiest, but made due. The reason he is in this for positive thinking is because of his friend, bruno. He gave Shmuel something to look forward to. They would play even through a fence. And when bruno decided to help Shmuel find his father, he was
