In the Anne Frank diary, Anne and her family had to go into hiding in an attic. She stayed positive mostly all of the time. Where they stayed was very plain so anne put pictures on the wall. She also always kept herself entertained with a diary and she loved the sound of a nearby clock chime. When there was nothing to look forward to, or when she thought there wasn’t, she always continued to make herself happy.
While Anne could not communicate with other people, in the story Dear Miss Breed, she talked to many. Although in a way they both kind of did the same thing, Dear Miss Breed got a bit more freedom. She would still write in a diary about what she did, but she got to experience more.
