Positive Thinking In I Am Malala

In a world full of war and sadness there's always the optimistic people who help people going. This is why positive thinking is one of the best ways to respond to conflict. The stories that were used are I am Malala: Young Readers Edition by Malala Yousafzai and Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl by none other than Anne Frank herself.

Malala Yousafzai is a perfect example of why positive thinking is one of the best ways to respond to conflict. In this case, Malala stayed positive throughout her time in SWAT with the Taliban. Even though Malala was being told that her going to school was against what others believed in, she still continued going to school and being the best student she could be. One similarity is that both Malala and Anne kept diaries of some sort. Although the difference between the two was Anne's diary was personal while Malala's was open and was meant to inform others. Both girls contributed majorly with their wars. Both girls were in a time of war, Anne was in World War II while Malala's was with the Taliban. One major difference though was that Anne contributed after her lifetime, it was all in the diary she kept it was a major document in seeing what the Jewish people were like and how they dealt with being in hiding.
