Police Shooting Essay
Three police officers were killed Sunday morning and another three were wounded by an African-American who was a former marine. He was believed to be upset at police shootings of blacks and came from Missouri to kill police officers. Baton Rouge Officers killed the attacker, 29 year old Gavin Lang, during the shooting spree. No motive was given for the attack other than the hatred of the police. This supports the theory of Trump that our country is in chaos over police officers shooting blacks and, in turn, blacks seeking revenge against white police officers.
We need to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate what is causing so many police officers to shoot blacks and what can be done to restore order to our country. Police officers

    “African American males are twenty two times more likely to be shot by a police officer than their white counterparts. The Oscar Grant case shows this corruption by law enforcement” (Neubauer). This controversial case has been an issue with law enforcements “protecting” our communities when in reality they’re just killing and accusing innocent people because they have the power to.
