Both police and corrections organizations are characterized as paramilitary organizations due to their centralized command structure. Police and corrections organizations are abide to follow strict rules and guidance at all times. Thereupon, their climate is not conducive to change due to the appliance of usual and workable strategies. These organizations are regimented to specific rules and regulations. Every organization, especially police and corrections often have to accept changes such as technology and put it into motion.
