My Summer Vacation in Pokhara
This summer i went pokhara to celebrate my vacation with my friends. On the first glance i was excited by the beauty of pokara. This place was like heaven and its beauty was so 'woow!' I was excited to explore the beauty of pokhara. First of all i visited the famous Bindhabasini temple. It was located in the place called miruwa. The temple was located at great height. As soon as i came out of temple and started to look around my eyes stuck on one hill and it was so lovely and coincidently the name of the hill was lovely danda itself (As said by the local people). Now from Bindhabashini temple i headed towards sarangkot another beautiful place of pokhara. I went to this place by walking and was lovely experience for me. I was excited too see the people doing paragliding. I also wanted to do the paragliding and I did that too. From that great height I started to fly and I landed on the great field in the place called pame , lakeside. This was tourist spot of pokhara. This place was called lake side because it was at the side of the great lake called phewa lake or phewa taal. There was a beautiful temple called taal barahai on the middle of lake. We need the boat to go in that temple so boating was also a great experience for me. That day I booked a hotel at lake side and enjoyed the night view of lake side it was so beautiful. Lake side the only place in pokhara which was alive whole night. The next day I went to the same place where I had landed yesterday after paragliding (pame) ths place was also famous for eating varieties of fish as told by locales so I went there to enjoy fish.
The another place was davids fall or patale chango situated at the place called chorepatan it was so beautiful place to enjoy the great water fall. There was the gufa called gupteshowor mahadev ko gufa where there was temple of gupteshowr mahadev. We could see the water fall falling down in this cave. I went to the two beautiful cave called mahendra cave and chamero

My keen interest I decided to visit the Wat Buddharangsi Temple of Miami which follows the ways of Theravada Buddhism. I did not expect to find it in such a remote location. The temple was completely surrounded by fields in a village like neighborhood. The location and its surroundings had the atmosphere very peaceful. A lot of trees surrounded the temple and made it feel full of life. The design of the temple was beautiful with not much color apart from the gold painted roofs and details. The building was built in a distinct “North Asian” style making it feel like you were stepping into a completely different place.…

    A Spiritual Journey

It is a great feeling going to a place where it’s a huge matter in one’s life. “Revisiting Sacred Ground” N. Scott Momaday had made a pilgrimage which his Kiowa ancestors. Momaday has said,” There are certain villages, and towns mountains and plains that, having seen them, walked in them, lived in them, even for a day, we keep forever in the mind’s eye.” Just like how Momaday relived his ancestor’s trails, I had a chance as well. I was lucky enough to be able to go on such a sacred journey that people would pay in thousands of dollars. The pilgrimage I would like to talk about is the one I took to a sacred city in India called Badrinath. I follow Hinduism, and in Hinduism there is a saying/belief that if we go on this enriching, and spiritual journey, we will go to heaven after we pass. I have a guru, like a living god, who I listen to and look up to. He took me on this spiritual journey.…

When the boat reached close to the bottom of the falls everyone could feel the power of the falls by the incredible mist and loud roar of Subholong fall. The incredible history of my ancestors related to this falls came to life when I actually viewed them with my own eyes. Neither novel could possibly give an understanding of the vastness of the falls nor could it bring to life the remarkable history behind this amazing wonder of nature. After the boat ride, we met the village’s chairman; he had a very fast Chakma accent. He helped us decide what attractions were worthwhile. After visiting the place and the fall we decided to make our way to my grandmother’s place. It was my father who stopped us not to leave that place but unfortunately except me no one gave ears to his words. Ultimately my father and I were left…

Within 5 minutes of walking in 50°F weather, my face stiffened. At the park, we were so enthralled that we went straight to the wild rides. The killer of the day and most probably the rest of the trip was Kali River Rapids. In a matter of 30 minutes, we had ridden it 4 times. Nobody wanted to get wet in the freezing temperatures, but as wild as we are, we didn’t care! We were prepared to get soaked by the freezing, turbulent waters as we rafted down the ‘Chakranadi’ River and screamed our lungs out when the raft dropped us through the waterfalls. Trembling and drenched with no change of clothes, we decided to warm up and have lunch at Restaurantosaurus.…

On New Year’s Eve of 2012, my family and I went to Bokor Mountain Resort. On the way up to the top of the mountain, I can sense many things. First of all, I can see many huge trees, beautiful flowers alongside the road; especially, the view of the sea and houses in Kampot Province that I could see from the top. I was very excited to be so closed to the nature. Secondly, when I opened the car’s window I can hear clearly the sound of wild animals living in the forest. Birds were singing, other animals were crying as strong wind blew the trees, making the unforgettable melody. As we were driving up, there was something to be amazed of. A huge piece of clouds was flying through the way we will be passing. At that time, my dad told my brother in law to stop the car and wait for the cloud to go away. I thought that it was a good chance so what were I waiting for? I immediately ran toward the cloud and asked my sister to take the picture for me. First time in my life touching the cloud and it was an indescribable moment. I still remembered the smell, the humidity and the cold foggy atmosphere around me. Moreover, there’s even more when I arrived at the top of Bokor Mountain. I could see interesting views such as the old casino, old king’s house, old Catholic Church and many other things. However, we didn’t visit all those places immediately; we just drove through and checked in hotel first. Since there was only one hotel on Bokor Mountain, we decided to stay there for two nights. After resting for few hours, while my family was having buffets, I drove alone around the hotel with the all windows opened. I was way too much fun. However, just an hour later I was very hungry. I came back and saw none of my family members at the restaurant. Of course, they were dressing up and get ready for the New Year’s Eve and the count down to 2013. I didn’t have dinner…

Pakistan is a country which has every aspects of life in it and more on it is the beautiful country in the world It has four climates in it and it has different landscapes in it which is the topic of mine ,now focusing on the greatest landscape of Pakistan called SAIF-UL-MALOOK which is located in the vale of Kaghan .It is the beautiful, cool ,fun and adventure packed spots in the vale of Pakistan, this legendary lake carries a mystic milieu which is refreshing for every soul .the biggest plus point of this lake is that it assessable from all corners of Pakistan which is quiet good for the tourists. I personally called this place a FAIRYLAND .The dazzling green of Danna meadows and the slippery glaciers at tarmac, on the way to Naran and Kaghan is quiet experience. The prince who spotted a mountain fairy bathing in the stream flowing from the lake, and stole her clothes just to tease her but then fell into love with her. The lake is at a distance of six miles from Naran at a height of 10500 ft above sea level, I think. . It’s easily accessible by jeep or by trekking. If you want to trek, you need around two hours. Trekking is real fun. There is huge glacier on the way and crossing it is both adventure and fun. Saif -ul -Malookis one of the beautiful lakes one can imagine to exist on the surface of this earth have no words to describe its beauty,it is surrounded by very lush green huge mountains and this all scenery is quiet much to impress from the beauty of this valley. If anyone will go there. Once can never forget the time that was spent in the company of this enchanting lake. Saif-Ul-Malook is itself is so charming, so luring and so tempting in real that I fall in love with it . There are also some demons too. The thunderstorms, the landslides and the heavy rain though have a romance of their own. It’s a pity there is no proper rest area, no hotel or a guesthouse so I must come back even though I don’t want to (neither the federally…

It was on the top of the hill. The surroundings were very charming. We could see the beauty of Nature and hills; we could also see the lower portion of Shimla from there. We arranged a servant there. He swept the house and prepared tea for us. We had everything for cooking with us. We stayed at Shimla for ten days. We took a guide. After taking breakfast, we used to set out on sight-seeing. We came back at 2 p.m. and took lunch. The servant was a good cook. The pure air and greenery of the hills made us fresh. We had heard that rainy days of Shimla are more enjoyable. Hence we took pleasure of showers when it rained one day or two. It made us feel sensations of deeper joy. We enjoyed getting drenched. We came back, changed our clothes and took coffee. The second field trip for Batch No: 1 on 30.01.2013 was to a water fall named “Arbi water-falls”. Our bus left us on the top of the plateau of Dasrath Nagar from where we had to walk down the steep slope of the plateau to get to the fields. We had to cross a swift stream of water which was very transparent and cold. We walked through the dykes, sort of no-man’s land made out of mud marking the boundary of two fields. Adjacent to the farmer’s house, which our sir described to over a hundred years old, was a well and a temple which was a special temple as there were big trees and people pray lord Vishnu in his cobra incarnation. It was also said to us that the people over there worship ‘Nagaraj’. We crossed a large number of bamboo barricades to visit the surrounding paddy fields, anywhere my eyes went I could only see greenery spread.…

The rainstorm was over, I dashed out from the house to free myself. Spending hours in the house really made me feel bored rigid (extremely bored). I needed fresh air and so I went for a ride in the neighbourhood of Bukit Katil. I enjoyed cycling along the roads that ran parallel with rows of tall trees. The atmosphere around me was refreshingly cool. In the midst of admiring view, I caught the sight of a house that was partly buried in the mud.…

The dream summer vacation of every person only comes once in a lifetime. In the summer of 2014 i had just completed my first year of college and my parents wanted to take me some where I'll always remember for my profound work. I had no clue of what their intentions were or what to even expect from them. My parents had invited just about all of our closes relatives and family friends to come along and celebrate the occasion with us. Majority of those that came brought gifts and money to encourage me to do well. Of course this made me the most thrilled person in the world, because I not only had family and friends over to celebrate but they also spent the night over for the trip my parents had put together to take us on.…

As a part of our extra curriculum activity, we had a memorable tour to Pokhara for 2 nights and 3 days. The very first day to Pokhara was very much tiring as we had to travel for about 6 to 8 hours to reach Pokhara. Though it was tiring, we didn’t leave any chance to entertain ourselves throughout the way. At Aabukhaireni, we stopped to enjoy a relaxing bath in a waterfall. We were delighted to have bath as we were sweating continuously.…
