It was six years later when everything changed
“what do you mean you’re leaving?” by now they have both grown her hair slowly started to change from turquoise to purple it seemed to be stuck in the middle a mix of the two colors which she found strange why was it doing this but that was a thought for later
“you’ve known that I wanted to be a pokemon trainer phoebe!”
“you said the exact same thing when you were ten and you came back home crying twenty minutes later” your words had the desired effect his cheeks turned red as he looked away from you muttering
“I was ten I’m older now I’m ready” see felt a knot grow in her stomach he was leaving her behind

lets have the best adventure my trainer!” it looked up at you with misty eyes seemingly unable to fathom that it had a trainer of it’s own She couldn’t help but smile petting it’s head

“you’re so sweet you’ll make a perfect companion” it’s eyes seemed to well up with happy tears the snivy huffed

“good riddance at lest I’ll be picked by a trainer who has a sense of style” she felt a pang of sadness for Isabella that snivy and her were complete opposites in personalities they wont get along well if she could understand it they wouldn’t she’d have no problems raising it if she didn’t understand what it was saying

“so are you going to give them names?” the three kids looked dumbfounded a name none of them thought of that

“um can I see my pokemons stats first” phoebe shyly spoke up causing the other two to nod along with her

“yeah I want to know if I have a boy or girl” aiden piped up

“gladly” aurea handed out the pokedexes the three took their time to inspect them and getting accustomed to them phoebe was the one to go to stats first “huh so you have an adamant nature…..” the smile she had on her face couldn’t get any brighter “you and me were going to be the perfect
