Description of The Business Wooden Designs will be a sole trader type of business owned by Zacheia Dominique. This business will be operating in the tertiary industry. This business will be established on the 2st November, 2014 when the owner realises an increase in the demand for furniture. Wooden Designs aim will be to consistently provide quality products and excellent service to every customer.

Nature of the Business
Wooden Designs luxurious products provide the right finishing for any space. We would be specializing in items such as beds, table sets, wardrobes, dressers, side tables, wooden accessories etc. This business will be catering to any and everyone whether for business or domestic purposes.

Objectives and Mission Statement
Objectives:
1) To sell the most attractive furniture.
2) To sell at affordable prices.
3) To give St. Lucia the best furniture at a given price.
Mission Statement
To satisfy customers of St. Lucia giving them the best and affordable furniture. 3
Justification of Location Wooden Designs will be located in Cul-Du-Sac, next to IGA Supermarket. We will be located in this vicinity for four reasons; For market pull which means the business will be located close to where potential customers are found. The availability of labour – Since the business will be located close to the city, where there is a large number of people, therefore making it easy to hire employees. The availability of raw materials – Cul-Du-Sac is a community with a vast amount of the raw materials necessary for my business, which is the lumber. The availability of energy – The location must be one where energy is readily available for the continuous functioning of the equipments at Wooden Designs.

The design team of Palliser is passionate about the subtleties of style, and the collections reflect a carefully considered selection of pieces that represent quality feature extensive choice and impart innovation. Also, the developers carefully source and test materials to meet Palliser Furniture’s high standard for durability, safety and value. Overall, each department is integration through the whole company, which shows the management in Palliser Furniture Ltd is successful and effective as well.…
