Good Essays
How does poaching effect hunting? Poaching can effect hunting in several different ways. One of those ways is by the deer population dropped 1,000,000 from the year of 2012 to 2013 from poaching. The dropping of the deer population this much could cause hunting to be banned (Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources White-tailed Deer Report). If the Wildlife department loses money this could result in several animal parks and hunting places being shut down. The banning of hunting could be both good and bad for the people. In (Kentucky white Tailed Deer Report) they state that the banning of hunting could be good for the people because this would make the serious hunters want to help catch people that are poaching and report them to the fish and wildlife department.

After the price of deer hunting license goes up, hunting privileges will be taken away for a year or two in order to let the population of animals rise again. This would stop the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife from having to take hunting rights away and would help to raise the population of deer back up all at the same
