According to the above data,teens often spend most of their time on games so they are affected negatively on not only health but also behaviors and studying.
First of all,game players with the excessive time have bad effects on both physical and mental health.It is true that when teens concentrate on games,they have less time to play outdoor activities because of sitting in front of screen for a long time,which makes them become overweight.The less time they spend on games,the less they are likely to be obesity.A study indicated that boys spending more than 1.5 hours on television and playing games were 75.4% more at risk of overweighting than those who spent less than 1.5 hours (Carvalhal MM,Padez MC,Moreira PA,Rosado VM,’Overweight and obesity related to activities in Portuguese children,7-9 years’,June 2006).In addition,in 2011,other study conducted that playing games led teens to raise food intake in teenagers.This means that when they were attracted by games,they paid less attention to food.Thus,they ate more and more especially fastfood because they had no more time both playing and eating (Baranowski T,Abdelsamad D, Baranowski J,O’Connor TM,Thompson D,Barnett A,Cerin E,Chen TA,’Impact of an active

    The purpose of this study emphasizes on both, the positive and the negative impacts of playing video games on the teenagers. Over the last 30 years video games have made an impact on the way teenagers spend their leisure time. This research hypothesizes that social interaction, psychological, in particular aggressive behavior, health and academic performance is greatly affected by the extensive use of video gaming. The research proposal is further supported by the literature review of various articles including an article by Brandon T, which states that video games influence the beliefs and self esteem of children.
