From Nothing to Something
Imagine the world with little knowledge of nutritional health or community development. The town of Tembisa was created 57 years ago when a husband and wife donated a huge plot of land. This province hasn’t changed much since it was developed. They were promised a land and community development but it never happened. Waiting for a change in the province was difficult for the people who knew nothing was going to happen. Learning how to create a community with health, exercise, and good education and that’s where soccer comes in. Samuel originally directed Play Soccer Nonprofit International and immigrated to the US to become a health director. Samuel started Play Soccer Nonprofit in 2001. “This program started out in Cameroon, Africa 26 miles of Bamenda, about 100 miles east of Nigeria (PSNI).” The start of this organization was because of a civil unrest, and tensions between English and French speaking regions of Cameroon. The English wanting their children to be homeschooled or to stay home twice weekly. This has caused education, social and health to become irrelevant to these children. PSNI is very helpful and caring to you and your communities all over the world. They make you work hard, and think hard, After you feel great about yourself and what you accomplished. This charity helps others learn about the sport they love with the education they need. With this charity they are able to play soccer and stay active to have a healthy/better lifestyle. It has impacted people lives and turning them around to become a better person and stay in shape. This charity has a great impact on the kids/teens lives, because they get to know more people and learn how to have an active lifestyle. It really makes an impact on their community as well, It’s also all around the world so they have the same
