Planning and Goal Setting
1. Name of company: PS Meat Company Limited will be a local Jamaican business that will be engaged in producing, packaging and distributing pre-seasoned meats ranging from cows, pigs and chickens to our local consumers. 2. The mission statement is: To provide superior quality pre-seasoned meat to our valued customers through our expertise to provide satisfaction.
Culture of the Company: Achievement culture which is to achieve our goals as best as possible.
The slogan of the Company: The slogan of the company will be: "Great taste Guaranteed”
Strategic goals which we want to achieve in five to six years are: i) To have our products being distributed to all major supermarkets island wide within 6 years ii) To expand our business by opening one more retail outlet in Kingston within the next 6 years.
Our Strategic Plans are: i) To ensure that products are top quality by ensuring all production standards are met and utilizing the best quality raw material in production. We will ensure that the ingredients used in the production of our meat products are garden-fresh to guarantee superior taste. ii) We will generate enough revenue to establish more retail outlets for the distribution of PS meats Limited. 3. Tactical Goals (short term goals) which we want to achieve in 12-18 moths are to i) Ensure that the employees that are hired by the HR department meet standards set by the organization so that they foster the organization's progress towards goal attainment ii) To ensure that the production department always has the right amount of raw materials needed to produce its final products for retailers.
Tactical Plans are: i) To make sure that materials are sourced from a reputable supplier. Before we purchase materials we will ensure adequate research is done to ensure that all animals are kept healthy and provide for optimum meat production daily. ii) To put in place a plan in order to generate enough capital to expand
