With their long fingers, they could grab the branches firmly with four hind limbs. Proconsul is a primate related to humans. In 1859, Charles Darwin published the origin of species a fiercely debated work that outline why the plants and animal kingdoms have so many diverse yet similar species. Charles Darwin is a British naturalist. He was born on February 12, 1809 at Shrewsbury, England. He studied at the University of Edinburgh and Cambridge. He’s included in a British expedition aboard the HMS Beagle from 1832-1836. Twelve years later, Darwin would ponder human origins.
