The "Somebody-Wanted-But-So" chart is an excellent way to summarize important information from history. In it, you identify a person or group of people; their goal, need, or want; what conflict of interest stood in the way; and the outcome. This strategy works great because history depends on the needs, wants, and actions of humans. Use the chart to show your understanding of people, countries, and organizations in the Korean War.…

Since, the IST Department of XYZ Computers is all on the first floor we must relocate the servers to a secure location. The best possible place for the servers would be on a higher level floor. We should also move any essential hardware to an upper level like a second or third floor to ensure that flood damage doesn’t occur. We also have to store remote servers that are being backed up at the same time the servers backed up so that the system keeps current operations. These servers also need uninterrupted power supply (UPS). The UPS would be connected to the server and protect against problems that may cause hardware failure, loss of data, and data corruption. UPS aren’t designed to support a server for hours but it will give the network administrator time to save as much data as possible and to shut down the server safely. RAID 6, I believe would be the more suitable solution for this because it can survive the failure of two disk rather than just one and it’s information is written on two different disk also.…

Previous to these career building plans we have been doing, I was almost entirely sure I had chosen the right degree to pursue. For instance; researching, is my second largest strength. I already knew that I loved to investigate and dig deeper into things, particularly human behaviors. Therefore, Psychology is the perfect major for me because it is aligned directly with my skills, strengths, and interests.…

I learned that sometimes self-awareness may be unpopular from the article by Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic. Many self-help advisors want to improve self-esteem rather than self-knowledge and urge people to ignore negative thoughts, in particular about themselves. I always thought it was good to acknowledge negative thoughts in order to obtain self-improvement. I also learned how to prepare to have difficult conversations and that compromising gives up less than accommodating. I thought that compromising and accommodating gave up about the same. I learned that there is a genetic component to emotional intelligence. I now know the components of emotional intelligence which are self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management.…
