New York Tourism Places
New York City is one of the best places there is if your friend is coming to visit you in New York. There is so much to check out and explore, it will probably take you at least two weeks for you to show your friend half of what New York offers the tourists. Some of the famous places are Central Park, Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Empire state building and many more, however the ones you really should show your friend are the first three places just mentioned.

Central Park, located at the center of Manhattan, is eight hundred and three acres and its surrounded by very expensive buildings where each apartment costs more than hundred thousands of dollars and is owned by many famous people who even sometimes go and relax at the park. Also, Central Park has tons of recreational activities like basketball, baseball, tennis courts, ice rinks, theaters and many playgrounds. Central Park Zoo and Metropolitan Museum of Art are also located there and are open most of the time for tourists and citizens. Central Park is clean and safe, and is visited by over twenty millions of tourists each year.

Statue of Liberty is another place you should take your buddy. It has a great view and the entrance is free except for the fare price to get to the island, which is the only way to get there and is pretty cheap too. The Statue of Liberty symbolizes freedom and a welcoming signal to immigrants arriving to United States from all around the world. It has a great view to Manhattan, Brooklyn Bridge, part of New Jersey and other incredible views.

Lastly, if you have time to show more places, you cannot forget about Times Square. Located in Manhattan, it’s the world’s busiest intersections, so if you own a car, don’t even think about taking your friend to Times Square in it.
