As President John F. Kennedy once said, ”The goal of education is the advancement of knowledge and the dissemination of truth.” The advancement into the eighth grade will open a lot of new doors that I have never had a chance to explore. Doors that will be the peak of my interests and decide my fate. Some of those open doors are, applying to High Schools, making my buddy the happiest he could be, and obtaining good grades. Being in the eighth grade, the biggest thing on a student's mind is getting into high school. Thats is the reason of going to elementary school, and middle school. The process of filling out applications, taking placement tests, and going to shadow can be a huge rock on students shoulders. Applications are a way to show the school(s) that why the student is applying, and why they are a good fit for the environment they offer. Obviously to get into high school, the student must receive good grades. Grades determine placement in the school academic structure.
