Theme: Pitch Perfect (Inspiration)

The movie Pitch Perfect has many elements of inspiration that can be shown in many scenes. Inspiration is the underlying theme of the movie. One example would be when Beca first moved into college and started out as a DJ then later on started volunteering at the school’s radio room. She then starts to look at different clubs until she was spot on by a club called the Barden Bellas. The theme starts right when she starts being part of the Barden
Bellas.

As being part of the Barden Bellas she starts creating her own music as a DJ by having to create new beats to already made songs by different artist. She then gets inspired by making already made songs into even newer songs with different styles of music. In the movie Beca’s passion shows how much she is devoted to the Barden Bellas by helping them win competitions and inspired to do so. She does that by changing the style of music and the style of singing as if she was Creating beats to her “DJ” on her own computer. After performing at a competition her group did not agree about the fact that she had changed the style of her song into the song the group is singing by having to surprise a whole bunch some of the group members, they did like the changes and having to get inspired the whole group decides to have Beca become the leader and chooses the style of song and the kind of song they sing. Inspiration shows up a lot in different scenes of the movie.

In the movie in order to join to Barden Bellas you have to be perfect, have to have the look. Many of the people that joined the Barden Bellas did not have the look nor are perfect but the new girl named Beca has joined the group and had inspired the whole group which made them think a different way where its not about the look nore being perfect it’s all about the talent and what they bring to the table. Beca was inspired to change the group in a whole different way in their last

Leadership is defined as ‘the process in which an individual influences the group of individuals to attain a common goal’. The goal is attained by mutual cooperation and cohesive behavior. A leader infuses a sense of positivity and directs others to reach the specified goal. Therefore for a person to be a successful leader they need to work hard to accomplish their goal and influence others to do the same. For greatest success and communication with their hierarchy they must be trustworthy and responsible. In addition, the person needs to be nice and approachable so that they can interact with others and are as approachable as possible. Although a leader must be approachable they still need to discipline their group or section in appropriate ways so that they may show respect and pride for the band. Outside of the marching field or classroom a leader needs to maintain integrity, work hard, stay away from bad habits and represent themselves and Leon Band to the best of their ability.…

What does it mean to be a leader? The answer is simple, but the meaning is much deeper than most people think. The simple answer is that a leader is one who brings a group toward a common goal, but the importance of these leaders is harder to explain. The importance of these leaders, especially in a large group such as the marching band, is profound. This, my formal application of the position of saxophone section leader, will explain why I would make a suitable leader in the marching band. I will make my attempt at explaining how a section leader should be, and the goals they should work toward achieving.…

Because the story of Twilight is so specific and personal to those characters, it is hard to see how that would apply to another person’s life. What message are we supposed to take away from the story of Bella and company? If we take the story as it is, we see a girl who life is only meaningful in connection with men. On the other hand, The Lord of the Rings presents a story in which even the smallest people can make a great difference in the fate of the world. The Lord of the Rings encourages us to find our meaning outside of the approval or even the eyes of those more “important” than ourselves. Frodo accomplishes his task without any promise or even hope of his deeds being noticed by the majority of the people of Middle Earth. And even when considering the obsession of a woman with a man, as we see in the pining of Eowyn for Aragorn (who only loves the elf Arwen), The Lord of the Rings gives an example of someone accomplishing an important task apart from the object of their affection. Eowyn makes the decision to accompany her people into battle, and she defeats the Witch King without the help of Aragorn (although with the help of Merry, another example of the small making a huge impact). The Lord of the Rings thus inspires even the least important of us (even if that is only in our own estimation) to strive towards making an impact upon the…
