Pitbulls Monologue
When we arrived I was amazed at all the different costumes. There was a couple that had two bulldogs. The male was dressed as a gentleman, and the female was dressed in a little queen outfit. They were so amazingly cute. As me and Tailgate walked around, there was a woman that fell in love with Tailgate. She followed us the entire time, taking pictures of Tailgate. Then we entered the last building there was a woman with two Boston terroirs. They were attacking other dogs, growling, nipping. The sad thing is the lady did not stop their behavior. When we were close Tailgate hid behind my leg. I did not realize there was a couple behind me until I heard this low growl. They had a huge pit bull. The little dogs decided they were going to attack the bigger pit bull, and he let them know he was not going to back down from them. Well the lady with the two little dogs scooped up her little minions and let this gasp out. She was telling anyone that would listen how this big bad Pitbull tried to eat her babies. I was so mad. She could not control her little pups, and it took a growl from another dog, (it had to be a pit), for her to finally control them. …show more content…
When Tailgate was around four years of age, I had to present a speech about BSL. I took Tailgate to class with me in order to present a “pit bull” that was not a man eater. He was so good. He laid in the class until it was time to go. People was approaching him and petting him, and he laid in one spot. The second time that Tailgate went to a classroom event, my friend Courtney assisted me. There were people that were anxious when we entered the classroom. Tailgate paid no attention but sat next to Courtney. When I finished my presentation the class began to clap. Tailgate must have thought that the clapping was for him, so he raised up as tall as he could, and began to bark. Courtney began to smile, and introduced Tailgate to some of the

Tank means everything to me and I would never want at any time for him to be confounded for anything that the rest of that breed did without being disciplined. The complication I am willing to address is that Pit Bulls all over (even on the internet), are being loathed due to the sudden tantrum that some are pulling. You know how the famous quote is “Everyone is different than one other”, does that not go for animals to?…

That’s just great. My niece decided to leave her children here. I don't remember seeing a sign in front of my house designating it as a daycare center. It's not a place where you drop your children off on date night. I'm not a free babysitter. I am a grown man and I am getting tired of this. Therefore, I'm going to tell you all a story about me. One that I hope you tell your parents. Maybe then they'll stop dropping you off here and my future will have fewer interruptions. I rather be watching baseball god dammit.…

You have heard it countless times before. “Pit bulls are heartless monsters!” Or you may have heard the ever famous claim, “Pit bulls are killers, dangerous, and keep your kids away from them!” But there are people like me out there that believe they are not monsters. What is the first thing most people think when they see a Pit Bull terrier? More often than not, people associate this breed of dog with terror, violence, and other common misconceptions. Instead of taking the time to learn about them, people simply believe the myths and negative news stories about them. Pit Bulls are as gentle as any other breed of dog, but thanks to myth and lack of knowledge about them the Pit Bull breed has been stereotyped, demonized, and misunderstood.…

People say pit-bulls are dangerous and that they are monsters; however, humans are the real danger and the real monsters. Pit-bulls should not be blamed for their owners mistakes; therefore, people should not blame an entire dog breed for the few who have been trained to be aggressive and mean. The owners should be at fault, not the breed of the dog; the breed’s owners have raised them to be aggressive and mean. Although, in certain people’s opinions, they are mean to others, but they are actually great dogs to have as pets. Humans have always been the real monster in these situations, yet most people do not see it that way. Society sees only the worst, they will notice when pit-bulls fight with others dog’s or act aggressively towards a human; however, they never blame the owner. There are owners out there that train their dogs to protect them or be aggressively with others dog’s; thus, due to their idiotic move, society looks…

I looked around and saw a small dirt road that lead away from the beach inland. I decided to take the road, not realizing what was in store for us. As I am cruising down the dirt path with the Mexican music blaring loudly, drowning out the buzz of the motor. All of a sudden the ATV died. As we sit there with the music still playing, looking around at each other with huge eyes, we were able to get it restarted. At this point that should have been our que to turn around and head back, but we continued on. This happened a couple more times but at this point we were miles from the beach. We weren’t too worried yet as we could see our hotel in the far distance. It was now my friends turn to drive and we at this point realized that we could not let up on the gas pedal as it would die again. We turned down another dirt road, this time being a little larger than the last dirt path. We soon found ourselves driving past a property that looked like a compound. There was a tall fence wrapped in flesh tearing barbed wire. There were about 3 or 4 out building and as we got closer there were a group of men standing in the yard waving at us. When out of nowhere two very large, aggressive pit bulls appear. They were running at us with great speed, saliva dripping from their mouths as they were quickly catching us. They were so close that I could have reached out and touched one or they could have easily ripped my arm off. Luckily the ATV did not die on us at this point. With the gas pedal mash we slowly gained distance between these grossly angry…
