Picture Day: A Short Story
One morning Sally woke up and got out of bed. Then she went into the bathroom to curl her hair because it was picture day. Sally turned on some jams to get pumped up for school. She was halfway done curling her hair when the curling iron started to steam and burnt off her strand of hair. Sally then painted her nails and then put them in a bowl of ice and water to make them dry very fast, but instead the ice and water just froze around her fingers, and didn't come off. Sally pulled her hair back so that you couldn't see the missing hair for picture day. To get the frozen ice off her fingers she went outside and put her hands over the burning fire from the bonfire for the royals game her family had the night before. Sally then went downstairs the eat cereal for her breakfast when she realized her milk was soured. …show more content…
Then on the bus Sally noticed her shirt was wet under her water bottle, but her water bottle hadn’t spilled and she wasn’t sweating. Walking into school with her friend Megan, Sally slipped and fell on a melted ice cube that was in the entrance of the school. Going up the stairs, the girls noticed rust going up along the railings of the stairs. In her first hour Sally became very tired so she took her water bottle out of her lunch box and poured her lemonade powder in her drink to wake her up. Sally walked to second hour which was living skills and they baked cookies. Surprisingly she did not get any cookie batter on her picture day clothes and went to 3rd hour and took her school pictures. Although she doesn't think they were very good because of her burnt off strand of hair. Sally then went about the rest of her school day as a normal day. Sally then got home, woke up the next day went to school and did not have all the troubles she did the day
