When looking at the current state of my exercise habits consists of walking at least 2 miles a day and jog 2 miles, stretches, and 30 minutes of deep cardio. I like to get up in the morning and start off with my stretching so that I do not become sore later on in the day, and it helps relax me and get me ready for my day. I like to stretch for at least 15-20 minutes every morning and stretching also helps with waking me up as well. After I get done with my stretches I will then go for a 1 mile walk to start and then jog for 20 miles, and then I will slow down the last mile and walk to cool down, and when I do it like this I feel as if I am more energized than I am on a pot of coffee. When I get back from my walk/jog I then get on the gazelle for 10 minutes total but then again I divide the time by having a warm up set amount of time of 5 minutes and a cool down set of time of 5 minutes as well. This helps to keep a good balance and does not overdue the heart while staying healthy and fit.…

I agree, it is a bit ominous to think about our aging process since we really do not know what can happen to us both physically and mentally in the future. Exercise is a definitiley a factor which can help us age in a healthy manner. That is why I try to exercise at least four times a week. While I am not in the best health of my life, I would say that my lifestyle is not entirely unhealthy either. I agree with your statement that an individual's diet and day-to-day activities also affect their life and aging process too. Dementia and cancer are scary sicknesses to think about and I hope you never become diagnosed with any these kinds of illnesses. Overall, your post was well-written and contained some interesting viewpoints!…

“Schools serve as an excellent venue to provide students with opportunity for daily physical activity, to teach the importance of regular physical activity for health, and to build skills that support active lifestyles”(Robert wood foundation, 2007). In today’s modern society, the importance of physical activity in a child’s development needs to be recognised and promoted. It is important that teachers and parents encourage and facilitate students to participate in programs which enable them to be both physically and mentally active. Encouraging ‘middle aged’ (6-10yrs) children to be involved in physical activity, whether at school or at home, helps their growth and development and also promotes positive factors in their general health and…

Physical Activity – When it comes to keeping fit and having a healthy lifestyle, physical activity is vital to maintain those factors. Whether its just walking or having a full session at the gym, any fitness is good. However, men aged 18-39 are recommended to have at least 150 minutes (2 hours 50 minutes) of physical activity every week, and mostly its recommended that be cycling or walking at a moderately fast pace. They are also recommended to do muscle strengthening activities 2 days a week that will work major muscle groups. We drive cars or take public transport. We entertain ourselves in front of a TV or computer screen. Fewer people are doing manual work, and most of us have jobs that involve little physical effort. Work, house chores, shopping and other necessary activities are far less demanding than for previous generations. This has a massive affect of physical health, and people now have no motivation to get up and be active outdoors.…
