Phoebus Apollo's Mythology
Apollo original name is Phoebus Apollo, but his roman name is Apollo. Apollo can be usually found in Mount Olympus which is said to be the meeting place of the gods and goodness; it is also where they built their homes and palaces. Apollo has many titles like Alexkakos, Asimoxaros, Citharoedos, Hylates, Lyceus Makrosagitaris, Musagitaris, Nomis, Patroos Phoebos and Pythios. Apollo has important powers that give him names such as God of healing God of truth, who cannot speak a lie, God of music and God of shooting.
Apollo was the child of Leto and Zeus. He had a twin sister named Artemies. Throughout his life he had many lovers like Marpessa, Chione, Koronis, Daphne, Arsinue. Apollo had at least sixteen lovers two of them were men and the rest

In Ancient Roman religious tradition, Actia was a festival of Apollo, celebrated at Nilopolis in Epirus, with wrestling, musical contests, horse racing, and sea battle. The Boedromia was an ancient Greek festival held at Athens on the 7th of Boedro in the honor of Apollo they made this celebration to thank him for helping them in wars. Pyanepsia was an ancient Greek festival in honor of Apollo, held at Athens on the 7th of the month Pyanepsion.

One myth about Apollo is, his love to play the lyre, it started when Hermes as an infant stole cows from Apollo's cattle. Hermes hid the cows inside of a cave near Pylos, in there he found and killed a tortoise, and using its shell and cow's intestines he crafted the first lyre. When Apollo went to complain with Maia, Hermes' mother, she did not believe the God, then Zeus intervened in favor of Apollo, but at that moment Hermes started to play his lyre.
