Philosophy Of Success
Philosophy of Success With every success story there will always be struggles and obstacles to get to the place we call “success”. Becoming successful is hard work and does not happen overnight. In order to achieve success you must always have a strict plan and goal to achieve your goals. Everyone has their own strategy to achieve success and I am no different. I am very methodical when it comes to figuring things out, I must always have a plan, especially when it comes to something important to me. First I start by making a lists of steps to concur my goal, what I like to call my achievement list, second I Organize my list into a visual representation, and lastly I work on myself and mold myself into a better person mentally and physically to not only achieve my goal of success, but to preserve and maintain it, so I do not lose what I tried so hard to get. With these three main success strategies I not only will reach my goals but I will do it with flying colors. When tackling a big goal or something I want to succeed in, what I first do, is think it out and create a very detailed and strong step by step plan to affectively obtain it. When I first got hired working at BJ’s I wanted to start as waiter right off the bat, but being brand new to the restaurant business I had no experience so I had to start at the lowest level position, Busser. Now knowing what I wanted and what to expect to get to that point is what I needed to know so, I devised my “Achievement List”. This list was the step by step process that I would need to follow from when I started to when I succeed in becoming a server. First I needed to gain the skills and figure out what I needed to master bussing, such as handling trays and balancing. This was my first priority, so I labeled it as my first step. Second was to break down these skills and put them in order from what to learn first (more immediate) to last (to less immediate). Then thirdly, I would evaluate my strengths and my weakness till

Do you like what you see? 6) Put together a plan of action for the achievement of your outcome. While it may seem like a lot of effort simply to decide what you really want, going through these steps at the beginning helps you find potential obstacles which previously stopped you from moving forward. For example, if you decide you want to join a gym and start exercising every day but you've forgotten you don't even own a car and just lost your job, that exercise plan might not work out right now. If you did join a gym, you'd end up not going and then you'd think you'd failed, yet it was the plan that failed, not you.…

The American Dream, or the Western idea of Success, can only be achieved “through initiative and hard work” (Tyson 57). Although this is the only way one can become successful, taking charge and working hard means something different to everyone. For some it may mean going through a few years of university just to make lots of money, but for others it may mean being dedicated towards the things they love. The characters in the book, The Lovely Bones, all portray the American Dream in a different manner, especially when it comes to the murder case of a seventeen year old girl named Susie Salmon. Throughout the novel the reader is shown the struggle that the Salmons encounter trying to get through the murder of Susie, and how other members of society deal as well. The three characters that are examined the most throughout the book are Susie’s father Jack, Susie’s murderer George and the detective on the case Len Fenerman. The characters in the book, The Lovely Bones, demonstrate that the western idea of success is misleading.…
