“Those who educate children well are more to be honored than parents, for these gave only life, those the art of living well.”- Aristotle To have a position as a teacher of our nation’s youth is a wonderful gift. Teachers have the ability to touch lives in ways that no others can and this cannot be taken for granted. Education is a gift that not only prepares children to be knowledgeable scholastically but enables them with the tools to obtain a career in hopes of a comfortable future. I believe all children want to and are capable of learning. It is the teacher’s responsibility to find ways to teach and relay information to their students so that all of them are able to understand and have the opportunity to ask questions and seek additional information. We are all able to learn no matter how broad our knowledge base is. There should always be an inside drive that encourages us to expand our knowledge and seek additional subjects in which we could improve ourselves. I am a firm believer that I will never stop learning and look forward to gaining all the experiences and schooling I can to help my students and set an example of the benefits of education. Young people all seek information and knowledge. My goal as an educator is to ensure I am able to provide them with the answers they seek and if I am not knowledgeable about the subject matter be able to assist them to appropriate areas to find the information so that we can learn together. I want to help motivate our youth and keep their interest by not only teaching critical skills but applying them to everyday activities. Students are more accepting of information they can relate to experiences and information they feel valuable. I want to be available to my students and for them to have the understanding that at any time I will be available to assist them with their studies. As an educator I am responsible for my student’s success and accept full responsibility in ensuring this achievement....
