In persuasive or argumentative writing, we try to convince others to agree with our facts, share our values, accept our argument and conclusions, and adopt our way of thinking. I have used persuasive writing in several areas of my life. In my personal life, I have used persuasive writing to convince members of my non-profit organization to donate money we fundraised to the Southside Boys and Girls Club for supplies and other miscellaneous items the children needed. Another member wanted to donate the money to the homeless but my research and convincing evidence proved that giving the money
