As with most arguments, the death speed of the death penalty will have two sides, pro and con. I will not be biased in this writing and shall spend adequate amounts of time on each subject in order to effectively convey across the ideas that each side might have. For each argument, there will be two points given. One point from each side will then be examined deeper.
Firstly, the affirmative side is the side that says the death penalty needs to be executed with much more speed. The two points supporting the pro side are: the cost of keeping death-sentenced inmates alive will no longer be needed and the costs will go down, and prisons would become safer as the more dangerous criminals would be eliminated directly after trial.

I found out that it can be shown through calculations that it indeed would be cheaper to execute the prisoners found guilty of a capital crime worthy of the death penalty right away. Based on all the information found, and all the calculations made, total cost for a prisoner on death row is around $11.34 million total. Total costs for the inmates are around $7,938,246,890. These calculations are made from information that was found from the Kansas DOC and shows that the cost would increase if the death penalty were to be instant and it also shows that the argument of the death penalty being more expensive is
