Persuasive Essay On Pro Life
The philosophy of pro-life and pro-choice has been a controversial topic in the world today. Each philosophy contains credible and conflicting arguments with those who are on opposing sides. The difference is a debate on what is more ethical and moral. Is saving every life moral, or is the government making your reproductive decisions a moral act?
“Pro-life is when a person believes that the government has an obligation to preserve all human life, regardless of intent, viability, or quality-of-life concerns (Head)”. This includes abortions, euthanasia, and the death penalty. Most pro-life beliefs are rooted from those beliefs in the Roman Catholic Church. That every life is precious and we as humans do not have the authority to decide if someone should live or not, including ourselves. The Church has tried to illegalize the abortion procedure. They state that although the fetus is unborn it is still a living human being that has a heart rate, fingers, and toes. Those who supports pro-life believe that it is wrong for a woman to kill her child and continue to live life however she pleases. They believe that if abortion is illegal then it will force others to be more responsible. “On the other hand, the pro-life vs. pro-choice debate tends to overlook the fact that the vast majority of women who have abortions

The Pro-Life side is more commonly defined as the argument against abortion. It has many different view points. One of the most common is religious. Many people have expressed their opinions in support of this side. One particular would be "Why Abortion is Immoral" by Don Marquis. He shows in his argument how Pro-Life supports generalize a fetus as an innocent human being from conception, and how they expect it to have the same rights as you and I. To these supporters abortion is wrong in every sense and they try to offer alternatives such as adoption. They also have points that are made from a feminist stand point. Generally they say that Pro-Choice…

What is Pro-Choice? Pro-Choice refers to the belief that a woman has the right to abort a baby from her body. Most people do not know how they stand on this subject. Usually a touchy subject, it is often kept a secret. I did extensive research on this subject after my older sister got an abortion. At first I was upset by the fact that she did it but now I realize that it was her choice and not mine. I feel that a woman has the right to do what she wants to her body. If a woman does not feel that she can raise a child then she should be able to do whatever she wants. If a woman gets an abortion in a case where she cannot raise the child then that is one less child put into foster care. During this speech I will inform you of the background on abortion, the different types of abortion, and also the main reasons to be pro-choice.…

Abortion, a hot topic of debate for over two hundred years. So far it has created two major movements one of them being “Pro Choice” and the other “Pro Life”. “Pro Choice” fights for the right of women to have a choice between giving birth or aborting the baby in the earlier stages of its development. “Pro Life” on the other hand has a totally different view of the issue, they completely oppose the right for abortion implying that it is an unlawful murder of a human life.…

There are many differences between a “pro- choice” position on abortion and a “pro- life” position. People who are “pro- choice”, then they believe that it is the woman’s decision if she wants to have a child and carry it for nine months. If someone is “pro- life”, then they are against anyone getting an abortion. They believe that the fetus has the same rights as a human being. The argument the “pro- life” people strongly believe is that every undeveloped human is sacred and must be protected by the government. The “pro- choice” people argue that when a humans personhood cannot be proven in pregnancies, then the government does not have the right to prevent a woman her right to decide whether or not she wants to continue with the pregnancy.…

With all excuses and theories set aside, you will still be faced with the question: “Is it truly the better option to end the life of your unborn child than to give him or her up to have a chance at life?”…

There are two different viewpoints on abortion. Pro-choice and pro-life. Let’s start with the easy one. Pro-life means that a person is completely against abortion. The pro-life viewpoint is the belief that abortion is considered taking the life a human, which would mean that life begins at conception. People may have this viewpoint for religious values, or even their personal moral values, and believe that abortion for anyone is wrong. Pro-choice is a little bit harder to describe. It doesn’t mean pro-abortion, it literally concerns the word choice. People that are pro-choice believe that it is a person’s personal decision as to whether or not they get an abortion. Somebody may be completely against abortion personally, but may still be pro-choice because they believe that it is a person’s decision and that right should not be…

But first, let your mind wander to the basics. What is pro-life? Of course, it would be the preservation of life through whatever means, regardless of the intent, viability and quality of human life. Thus, this prohibits abortion, suicide or assisted suicide, death penalty and war. With this said, it is therefore clear what pro-choice is. Pro-choice affirms the legality of abstinence, the use of contraception, and abortion.…

These people firmly believe that an abortion is ending a life and is, therefore, murder and should be treated as such. These people are referred to be pro-life, and that means they oppose abortion. The other side, known as pro-choice are people who believe it should be the woman’s right to choose to either continue or to end the pregnancy and that there should not be laws banning abortion that interfere with the right of a woman to decide what is in her own best interest. Those in support of pro-choice may not believe that abortion is morally correct and might even view it as wrong but nonetheless, they believe it should be the woman’s…

Pro-life is when individuals believe women should not have the right to abort a baby, pro-choice is the complete opposite. Pro-choice is the belief that a woman has the right to choose the best choice for her personal health, future, and moral sensibility. In my opinion abortion should be illegal. Life begins at conception, therefore I view the termination of a fetus as murder. Taking away one's life when they have no say is murder. How can you withdraw an innocent child's life? A failed abortion can result to a severely handicapped child. How can you attempt to damage a child for life causing your child to come out intellectually handicapped? How can you deliberately kill a miniscule baby because you decided to not use a form of birth control?…
