Many students push for an open campus lunch to enjoy with their friends. They would like to go eat at a fast food restaurant or even swing by home and say hello to mom or dad. But they have to stay at school and either not eat or eat the ever degrading school food. Starting open campus lunches gives many benefits such as an increase in student happiness, less money needing to be spent on food and electricity by the school, and even lunch running smooth with the decrease in student populous.
