Persuasive Essay On Mars
As we grow as the proud and self-praising country we are (which seems to work quite well for us) we need to increase our political and economical success by funding NASA to colonize Mars. Imagine it, looking down at your own two feet standing in red dirt, mars dirt. You all of a sudden know that you have done something so new, so astonishing and you're in utter shock of how accomplished you feel for America. By embarking on this big decision as a country we will be ensuring the survival of our species and growing stronger than ever. We are explorers therefore let us venture out to the red planet in means of strengthening our country. On Mars we can secure a safe and habitable planet for our species.

We need to entrench the survival of our species. Many critics may say that we should remain on earth and that we’ll keep evolving despite any population harming events. However, to put it in a deeper prospective, the dinosaurs got wiped out by asteroids, all that remains now is fossils. This could be the human species years from now. All things considered, becoming a multi planetary species would provide a stronger chance of survival. As well as the fact that Mars has become our only “Plan B” considering all other planetary residents aren't an option due to either temperature, atmosphere or lack of resources. Mars is becoming more and more accessible to us the more we learn about it and from it.

For example, we would be demonstrating American leadership by becoming the first humans on mars. On that account, if America doesn’t colonize mars, another country eventually will and therefore they would gain the political and economical benefit. Not only will this mission advance us as mankind but it will further our efforts in solar energy, recycling, food production and medical technology. This has become more than just science, its become policy, we need to go to

As your president, I am proud; we are superior to those who were left behind on Earth and the Earth-1st party voters. The reclamation of Mars from the horrid Earth-1st Party that previously ruled this planet further proves that we are superior, and we belong here; this is our land now. Mars is a planet like no other; this auspicious planet offers our children opportunities that no one has ever had before and offers us wealth like no other planet can. It should be emphasized that I will not mollify out hate for Earth-1st sympathizers, who support the restoration of Earth with resources from Mars; anyone who is labeled as an Earth-1st sympathizers will be deported to outer space. Furthermore, Mars will be an asylum only to those people who show they are worthy of being rescued from the radioactive Earth; anyone who demonstrates incompetency or low intelligence will not be offered protection here. To alleviate the residents of Earth from their…

Just one of these advancements is autonomous robots. The need for this is from “a time delay between communications from Earth to Mars…” For any situation that might occur, the operators and scientists will need the robots to act for themselves and not have any human influence. This could also be used to have robots in certain areas for emergencies that might happen. There is “a number of technological advancements, from faster computers to better machine-learning algorithms,..” needed to make this project work. All of which can be used for other technology, like better scanning equipment for search and rescue situations or diseases in a human body. The advancements achieved through this project are totally worth the amount of time, energy, and money…

In 1961, the world was changed forever, Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin entered the spacecraft Vostok 1 and traveled into space. Following him in the same year, was the American astronaut Alan Shepard in Freedom 7. Then in 1969 the crew of the Apollo 11 mission landed on the Moon. This space race in the 1960s helped to light the fire of man’s interest in outer space and has lead mankind to wonder if we could live away from the comfort and safety of planet Earth. Many scientist and explorers have wondered if it would be possible to colonize the Moon or Mars for the purpose of research, resources, and hopefully a secondary home for the human race. However, many people have also doubted the idea of leaving the safety of planet Earth to explore other options of habitable places. Many argue that space exploration is dangerous and some critics argue that it is using too much money that could…

I can only imagine what it would be like traveling to space. It is not something I sit around and think about doing. Those who had the pleasures of going to space, like the astronauts, are those who had been preparing for such a career. This does not make me want to go to space, going to space is like dying and going to the other side, you just do not know what to expect. Science tells us that space is like a never ending hole. This sounds a little creepy, but space really is not all that scary, it is quite amazing actually. Science tells us that space is a galaxy with many stars, planets, and rocks. However, I am against civilians in space because civilians are inexperienced and the cost can become extremely high.…

Suddenly you hear some air planes, flying at a medium height... And by the time you realize that there have been some fungi-shaped explosions with kilometers of diameter around your location, you hear something falling near you, something big, something you know will be the last thing you will hear… Now let me change a little the story. Imagine yourself waking up, but this time, with a special white suit; you get out of bed with less effort than the regular; you try to take a deep breath but it doesn’t smell the same as you expected and even your lungs feel different;…

Asteroid studies are important in the exploration of space, but do we have the funds for it? We do have the funds for asteroid studies, but we use them for other things like social security and Medicare. The asteroid study funds could also be put into finding new alternative resources if we don’t want to damage the earth more than we already have or to just use the things on other planets for fuel sources, metals that earth is low on, and new chemicals to better our scientist’s studies. The funds could also be used to help track asteroids to protect the earth from further harm. The funds can also help the U.S get higher in the ranking of the space exploration race, like when the U.S was racing Russia to get to the moon first.…

Space is infinite and our planet is failing slowly but surely. Humans have damaged it so Horrifically, that the threat of not seeing the next year is always looming over us! Meanwhile space has new planets and minerals can be used instead of mining on Earth, water and semi-perfect conditions, and can keep planet jumping. Though having more space programs will mean more productivity, our nation’s debt is already too high. America has a debt of $18 trillion, if there is not enough money to even fix a bridge in Chicago, how is the government going to fund more than one space company to go and explore? It all comes back to money and the lack of it. It would probably be best if private companies leave space travel and exploration to the…

Even though, some opponents to sending a manned mission to Mars are asking if Mars is dead, we do not need to go there, in fact, a manned mission to Mars would be useful to explore Mars and get information about the red planet. We should go to Mars because according to Gangle, “If Mars is dead now, but was once alive, understanding how Mars died may give us a crucial understanding of how close we are coming to killing the Earth” (qtd. in Joulwan, par.4). The mission helps us know more about our planet. Also, a manned mission to Mars can explore Mars for resources, for example, energy, minerals and much more. Similarly, a manned mission to Mars can do some experiments on such diseases, for instance, AIDS and Cancer on Mars.…
